The Alexi Ripped is among the final guitars designed legendary guitarist and Children of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho, one of the world's most beloved and influential figures in Metal.
Featuring an offset V Alder body finished beautifully in the awesome Purple Fade Satin w/ Ripped Pinstripes, it is incredibly resonant and high a brilliant high end snap, essential for cutting through in a live situation.
It features a three-piece Maple neck with a quick and comfortable U shaped neck profile, whether your up the top playing power chords or down low shredding you are sure to feel comfortable. The Ebony fingerboard is adorned with 24 extra jumbo frets, sawtooth inlays, glow in the dark side markers and scalloped frets from the 19th-24th.
Classic Alexi tones come courtesy of an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge and an EMG HZ S2 passive stacked single coil in the neck. This loadout is super versatile and perfect for whatever situation you may find yourself in. It also includes an ESP MM-04 active boost switch, a preamp circuit with adjustable EQ settings and up to +18dB of boost when you need.
Designed for pro players, the E-II Alexi Ripped includes high-end components such as Gotoh locking tuners, ESP strap locks, a double-locking Floyd Rose Original bridge, a volume control, an inset three-way pickup selector, and boost switch.it!
