The Thunderbird Bass is a real powerhouse bass, offering slick design and monster low end bass tones, this Epiphone Rex Brown Thunderbird takes that classic design and adds some awesome new custom features and brings this iconic instrument down to a more widely accessible price point.
The Mahogany body is finished in a really cool Ebony lacquer, it's well balanced and offers a super comfortable playing experience. It features an awesome firebird pickguard which beautifully compliments this guitars stealthy nature. It's an iconic design and still catches the eye all these years after its initial 1963 release.
The Mahogany/Walnut neck features a C bass profile alongside a 34" scale length, Laurel fingerboard, 20 frets and a 41mm nut width. It's a real joy to play and is more than just a rock machine, its smooth and versatile - perfect for a wide range of styles.
A pair of powerful ProBucker 760 Bass pickups provide plenty of output and low-end punch. With 2 volume controls, a master tone and passive electronics you can nail that iconic Rex Brown bass tone that we all know and love. This bass is finished off with a Babicz FCH bridge and a set of gold die cast tuners, both of which allow for excellent stability and performance.
