The Modern Humbucker Alnico delivers the musicality, power, and explosiveness of alnico, along with a voice that sets it apart from other humbuckers. The pickup comes with two distinct voices: Voice 1 (Modern Active) which provides a full, round, and boosted alnico sound with unmatched articulation and dynamics, and Voice 2 (Crisp, clean, and fluid) which offers the clean and crisp neck humbucker tone without the thin, plinky sound commonly associated with it.
The Modern Humbucker Ceramic pickup boasts a cutting ceramic attack, delivering both brutal active aggression and passive punch in the same guitar. With two distinct voicings, the Modern Humbucker Ceramic offers versatile tonal options. Voice 1 (Modern Active High Output) provides an ideal active ceramic humbucker tone with crisp, searing crunch, tight bass, and a growl. Meanwhile, Voice 2 (Modern Passive Attack) offers an organic, high-output, passive ceramic tone with superb distortion characteristics and Fluence dynamics and response.
These are designed to drop right in and replace standard humbucker pickups. Finally, it is rechargeable on your guitar with an optional lithium-ion battery pack that offers weeks of playing time, so you can spend more time playing and less time changing batteries.
