Reverend Charger 290 - Burnt Brick
Reverend Guitars began life in an East Detroit garage back in '97 and they haven't looked back! Delivering unique designs with a real retro flavour, Reverend have an artist roster to rival any. Counting Billy Corgan, Reeves Gabrels, Dan Auerbach, Mark Knopfler and our good friend Greg Koch among their artists, Reverend Guitars are Korean manufactured and meticulously set up in house at Reverend HQ, Toledo, Ohio.
The Charger 290 is a no nonsense explosion of functionality and killer tone. Featuring a Solid Korina body, this unique design allows for maximum bite with a rich, resonant and dynamic tone. The 3-Tone Burst gives a distinct vintage feel, while the ergonomic body shape feels very modern.
The Roasted Maple neck boasts a dual action truss rod, six bolt neck plate and an angled neck heel for optimum comfort! With a medium oval profile, 25.5" scale length and 22 medium jumbo frets it's supremely comfortable and offers a great playing experience right up the neck. Whether you want to lay down some big chords or tear up the fretboard, the Charger 290 is fully equipped to deliver.
Reverend design their own range of Custom pickups and the Charger 290 benefits from a duo of 9A5 pickups. The 9A5 is a hotter than usual P90 with Alnico V magnets.
