With 8 Grammy Awards and 2 inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, guitar players don't come much more revered than Jeff Beck. A member of the legendary Yardbirds and founder of the Jeff Beck Group, he is known for his innovative sound and flawless approach.
Predominantly a Strat player, the Fender Jeff Beck Signature Strat is one of the most popular signature guitars of all time and it's easy to see why!
The Alder body is typically comfortable, as all Strat's are, and with a crisp Surf Green finish it looks real slick. The Maple neck features a Deep 50's U profile, designed for speed and comfort; it's equally at home playing big chords or intricate lead work. 22 jumbo frets, a Rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius and 25.5" scale length make this Stratocaster feel familiar and supremely comfortable.
The defining feature comes in the form of the Fender Lace Sensor Gold pickups. Super dynamic and offering a multi-dimensional tone, these pickups mix to produce powerful, balanced tones with great versatility. With a 5-way blade and a button to split the coils of the humbucker, you get monster tonal options.
This guitar is from 1999, which was right towards the end of the original run of these guitars. It is in really nice condition, the only real areas of note are some lacquer cracking on the neck which is noticeable underhand and some light buckle rash to the rear. This guitar is 20 years old though so some superficial playing marks are to be expected. Complete with Fender hardcase, this is a great opportunity to get your hands on a real gem!
