Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar
Based on Fishman's convention-disrupting Fluence Core technology, the new pickups for bass bring the revolutionary multi-voice performance, dynamic range, and articulation of Fluence technology to 4-string and 5-string bassists. The three voices for the Fluence Soapbar were created to offer players a wide palette of sounds that cover all playing styles.

A5 Ultra Ashs versatility is maximised by the push/pull mode on the volume knob and the dedicated 3-way mini switch for multi-voice control that enables perfect tones for wide range of genres.

- Voice 2 (Active): Full frequency, full dynamics

The push/pull pot for volume/coil-split engages single coil mode when pulled for the same voices above but with Jazz Bass string window
Hipshot TransTone Bridge
The string-thru-body and top-load construction facilitates greater tonal range while adding punch and enhancing sustain, perfectly complementing the longer 34" scale's tighter string tension and focused sound.

Hipshot Ultralite Machineheads
A5 Ultra Ash is equipped with Hipshot Ultralite Tuners (classic 20:1 tuning ratio) that is made of cast zinc with aluminium strings posts and mounting nuts, resulting in 30% weight reduction over other regular tuners and which results in improved balance and tuning accuracy.
