Guild Guitars are a true giant of the acoustic guitar world, since their inception back in the 50s; they have consistently delivered guitars that embrace vintage design and exceptional craftsmanship. The Westerly Collection pays homage to an important period in Guilds early history, when Guild outgrew their Hoboken, New Jersey factory, and moved production to Westerly, Rhode Island in 1967.
The Guild M-240E Troubadour features a solid Spruce top with Mahogany sides and an arched Mahogany back. A key feature of Guilds history, the arched back design prevents the need for the added support of back braces, reducing weight while increasing projection and volume.
The Mahogany neck has a slim C profile and a 24.75 scale length, this coupled with its 16 radius makes it an incredibly comfortable and stable player. The Rosewood fingerboard features pearloid dot inlays for a real vintage vibe. With Guild open gear tuners and a Rosewood bridge offer great tuning stability and intonation.
Loaded with a DeArmond Tone Boss pickup, this guitar is always ready to hit the stage or studio. Its a real sweet player and opens the Guild name up to players of all standards. Comes complete with Guild deluxe padded gigbag.
