Patrick James Eggle is very much the modern day hero of British guitar design. Not content to just build his incredible boutique electrics, Patrick fronts up Faith, creating a range of innovative and highly desirable acoustics. One of the stand out guitars in this collection is the Faith Neptune Baritone HiGloss.
With a Solid Engelmann Spruce top, the Neptune benefits from Solid Rosewood back and sides for a real tonal powerhouse pairing. The HiGloss Baritone features an all-over high-gloss finish that is particularly effective in aiding the natural resonance of the Neptune body shape while ensuring a fantastic level of clarity, string articulation and volume is achieved.
A Mahogany neck boasts an impressive Macassan Figured Ebony fingerboard with the signature Faith mother of pearl 'F' at the 12th fret. With flamed Maple binding and an Ebony bridge, the Faith Neptune Baritone feels really organic, it's meticulous design offering the perfect base on which to develop your performance. A longer scale length means lower registers can be achieved without strings turning all floppy and sounding pretty horrible. The longer neck allows the use of heavier gauge strings which in turn means you can tune each string much lower than usual, yet maintain the correct, playable string tension.
With a Fishman INK3 preamp and pickup, this guitar is ready to hit the stage. Delivering incredible clarity and definition, it's the perfect solution for the gigging musician.
Patrick James Eggle is well known for building guitars of the highest quality and the Neptune Baritone really pushes the boundaries of performance focussed acoustic guitars.
This guitar is classed as B-Stock, this guitar had received a large hit to the top of the body but has been expertly repaired, the crack is still visible and is shown clearly within our images, this is a super cool chance to grab one of these guitars at a fraction of the standard retail price.
