The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop 63 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The Alder body is finished in a super cool Chocolate 3-TSB nitro lacquer, Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The Plain Grain Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 9.5" radius and 21 Medium Jumbo frets, the '63 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '63 Strat Style "C" neck shape which measures .820" at the 1st fret and 974" at the 12th. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a HW Texas Special bridge, HW 65 Strat middle and HW 69 Strat neck pickup it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
