With this Godly status, any guitar with his name attached generates a huge amount of interest, and rightly so. The Fender Custom Shop Dale Wilson Masterbuilt '60 Strat Heavy Relic is a great example of the legendary prowess of the Masterbuilders.
A sort for lightweight Alder body is finished in a heavy Relic 3-Tone Sunburst lacquer, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. Dale is the King of relic work at the custom shop and this certainly doesn't disappoint though!
The Rift Sawn Maple neck has a worn in finish and feels great underhand. With a 9.5" radius and 21 Jumbo frets this '60 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
