There are certain guitars that stand the test of time, and with its timeless design, effortless playability and rich history, it's easy to see why the Gibson Les Paul remains such an iconic guitar. Blues hero Joe Bonamassa has once again teamed up with Epiphone to bring a touch of that classic Gibson sparkle to much more accessible price point. Their 7th collaboration, the Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard Norm Burst features a custom hard case and hand signed certificate of authenticity. Modelled after a 1960 found at Normís Rare Guitars, the vintage version was crafted during the final year of the original production run.
Featuring a Mahogany body, with a Flame Veneer top and AA Maple cap it's vibrant and has a slick old school vibe; Heritage Cherry is a classic era colour that perfectly complements this stunning guitar. Delivering a rich and authentic tone, this LP Standard is super resonant and beautifully balanced; it just oozes that vintage appeal.
The neck is crafted from Mahogany and features a gorgeous Indian Laurel fingerboard, embellished with pearloid trapezoid inlays. With 22 frets and a 24.75" scale length it feels smooth and comfortable, equally at home playing slick lead work or heavy chord strumming.
A pair of Epiphone ProBucker pickups delivers those classic Gibson tones, deep, rich and resonant they offer great clarity, this really is a powerhouse guitar!
Housed in a hardshell lifton case with Bonamassa Nerdville art, this is sure to be one of the most popular Epiphone/Bonamassa collaborations yet!
