Here we have another absolutely incredible guitar from the Martin Custom Shop. Similar in design to the Martin HD-28, the D-14 offers classic Martin dreadnaught tone and feel, it's a super inspiring guitar.
With its "Herringbone" trim and Custom Shop grade Rosewood back and sides, the D-14 features an Adirondack spruce top with scalloped braces. The top also has the amazing VTS treatment, which allows Martin to make a brand new guitar sound like an 80 year old vintage instrument. The top is heat treated to remove the moisture, which allows it to have the quickest response and the most detailed tone. This gives the most authentic look and a tone that's akin to a vintage guitar but with the stability of a modern guitar.
Made in the Custom Shop at Martin's home in Nazareth, PA, it offers classic Martin Dreadnaught tone throughout. Peach have done it again!
