The Fender Player Telecaster is a new line for 2018, building on the success of the Mexican Standard it offers an affordable way for everyone to experience what makes the Tele so special.
The traditional Alder body is typically well balanced and comfortable, as all Tele's are, and with a crisp Silver finish it looks real slick. It's super resonant and authentic Fender tone, from the glassy highs to the rugged lows, this is a true Telecaster.
The Maple neck features a Pau Ferro fingerboard and 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. With a C shape profile and 22 medium jumbo frets, it offers a really comfortable playing experience; it's equally at home playing big chords or intricate lead work.
A pair of Player Series Humbuckers provide classic Tele twang with a real modern flavour. Offering a touch more bite than traditional Telecaster pickups, the Player Series are crisp and articulate. With bent-steel saddles and a string through body, this Telecaster has precise intonation and that little bit of extra sustain we all want.
