All of the guitars in the run have the LAST Brazilian Rosewood fretboards that Suhr have fitted as standard, instead of the regular east indian rosewood option. As we all know, Brazilian Rosewood was used on the hallowed instruments of the early 60s and is definitely one of the final pieces in the puzzle of the quest for the ultimate 60s strat tone.
We've also specced out the guitars with Custom wiring and electronics, all guitars have the extremely usefull 'no-tone' in positions 2 & 4 on the 5 way selector switch, this allows you to run the tone for the single pickup selections at a lower smoother setting if you wish whilst still retaining the funky/quaky out of phase tones when using any of the combination selections.
We've gone with 2 different pickup selections in this special run, we have a 3 single coil option with the highly regarded FL pickups and Suhr BPSSC system which will give you all the glorious 60s Strat tone that you could ever wish for but no HUM due to the BPSSC. The other slightly cheaper option has no BPSSC system but it has SSV humbucking pickup in the bridge as favoured by Mike Landau
