Peach Pre-Owned

We all love a bargain, right? Well, grab a brew, take a seat and let me fill you in on some of the stellar deals we currently have on pre-owned guitars. We are really proud to stock some of the very finest and most exquisite guitars in the world, and with more incredible new stock turning up every day it’s sometimes easy to overlook some of the killer pre-owned gear we have.

Our pre-owned stock changes daily so to make sure you don’t miss anything click on the pre-owned tab under Guitars on the menu bar. We have a great selection in at the moment so check them out; we might just have what you have been searching for!

First up, we have a quartet of super delicious Custom Shop Les Pauls, one of the most iconic guitars ever designed; the Les Paul is still sitting pretty at the top of the tree after almost 70 years. The Custom Shop is where the best of the best originate from and the 4 pre-owned models we have are all pretty special! First up is a cracking 2010 ‘55 Hot-Mod, back in the late ‘50s the Sunburst P-90 LP was largely overlooked in favour of the slick Gold top variants, fast forward 10 years and thanks to Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page everybody wanted one! This sparked a phase of players modding those same Gold tops to get that classic Sunburst vibe, this Hot-Mod LP pays homage to those guitars. The attention to detail is unreal, even down to the slightly off centre seam of the 2-piece top which previously would have been hidden under the opaque Goldtop finish. Finished in Heritage Cherry Sunburst nitrocellulose, it’s perfectly balanced and oozes vintage Gibson mojo. At only £2299 it’s your chance to grab a pretty limited run model at a great price.

Joe Bonamassa is a very vocal fan of vintage LP’s and the ’59 Skinnerburst is a detail perfect replica of his most prized guitar, the affectionately named Principal Skinner. Through unrestricted access to Joe’s favourite guitar, the Custom Shop have been able to deliver a historically accurate, flawlessly replicated tonal monster. This model is one of only 150 that were given the classic VOS finish; it’s a real treat and a serious collector’s piece. Although listed as used, it has been stored away safe and sound with only very minimal play time, it’s a beauty and not a guitar that usually hits the second hand market.

The Gibson Custom True Historic ’59 in Vintage Dark Burst delivers the absolute pinnacle of accuracy and attention to detail, this is as close as you can get to owning a ’59 without the six figure price tag! A double carved, hand sanded top, a neck with hand rolled fingerboard binding and plastics that have been replicated from molecular level analysis of original parts, make this the ultimate vintage LP experience, it’s obsessive design from Gibson! Most importantly though, it plays like a dream, smooth and focused it’s easy to see why the ’59 is considered the very best.

Last but by no means least is a super tasty LPR8, using ultra select woods which were chosen based on their light weight and tonal qualities, the R8 offers a gorgeous flame maple top, a slim ‘60s neck profile and an Antique Teaburst VOS finish. It’s a brilliant fusion of vintage and modern and for £3499, a great option if you’re looking for a real tonal powerhouse.

Aside from Nashville’s finest, we have a dream team of super Fender Custom Shop guitars for you to feast your eyes on. First up is the John Cruz Masterbuilt Strat, as one of the world’s premier builders, John Cruz’ work is always in seriously high demand, with a 3 year wait list you can jump ahead of the queue here! With handwound Abi Ybarra pickups and a reverse trem ala Stevie Ray, this is a stone cold stunner. Maybe the Ancho Poblano Strat is more your bag, with a 2-Tone Sunburst Journeyman finish, a ’51 U profile and a trio of Ancho Poblano single coils this is a real tone machine. The Anchos get progressively hotter from neck to bridge and are uniquely calibrated to offer a distinct tonal flavour. Overwound by hand they are the holy grail of single coils. The ’57 Journeyman in Melon Candy is an eye catcher for sure, commissioned especially for NAMM 2017 it is loaded with hand wound El Diablo’s. Running super-hot it kicks out a mega lead tone and a scorching rhythm, a real player’s favourite. If you’re a Tele addict, maybe the ‘50s Thinline in Aztec Gold over Gold Sparkle will pique your interest, another NAMM 2017 model this beaut has some serious attitude. A Quartersawn maple neck, handwound Twisted Tele and Broadcaster pickups and Limited Edition engraved neck plate; this is a real gem of a guitar.

Aside from the big two, we have some real statement pieces. The Thorn SoCal Korina is hand crafted in LA by Master Builder Ron Thorn, a tonewood dream it features a triple attack of monster pickups. An Arcane Triple mod, a Lollar BF and an Arcane Brownbucker deliver killer tone and with a 5 way switch, push pull splitting and a mini toggle on/off for the neck pickup, you have countless tonal options. The Suhr 2012 Modern Carve Top is a super spec’d powerhouse, with a swamp ash body, quilt maple top and a 5A roasted Birdseye Maple neck, it’s a stunner. Hipshot locking tuners and a Gotoh Floyd trem make this a monster for slick solos and chunky riffs.

This is just a small cross section of our electric range; we have further models from PRS, Gibson, Suhr and Patrick James Eggle so be sure to check them out.

If you’re on the hunt for the perfect companion for your super sweet electric, check our range of used amps. Whether you need an amp for home practice, recording or to push some serious air at the weekends, we’ve got your back! We have a great range of used Dr. Z amps all in great condition and ready to hit the stage, they offer premium tone and really are at the peak of modern amp construction. We love ‘em, and they certainly all come with a hearty Peach recommendation. Joe Walsh loves ‘em too so who are we to disagree.

We also have an absolutely glorious Mesa Boogie Transatlantic TA-15 head. Possibly the best lunchbox amp around, this little firecracker goes from clean to scream and everything between, it may be small in size but it’s huge on tone! A Suhr Badger 30 head and 1x12 cab are up for a bargain £1799, this super sweet little package delivers incredible response and clarity, a real favourite of ours. Matchless Amplifiers were the guys that really paved the way for this golden era of boutique amps, the Independence 35 Head was the first 35 watt 3 channel amp Matchless released and it’s something of a cult classic. With sparkling cleans, thick drives and a spicy distortion this amp is a real juggernaut.

For those of you looking for something a little more organic, we have a few real sweet acoustics on offer. The Martin 000-28EC is a must for Eric Clapton fans, based around Clapton's guitar of choice for the famous MTV Unplugged show; it has a real vintage appeal. With a Sitka Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood back and sides and an Ebony fingerboard, it’s a tonewood match made in heaven. If that doesn’t float your boat, check out the Martin D-28 Marquis, this discontinued beaut is a real highlight of the Martin back catalogue and is on display in one of our three Martin rooms, if you’re looking for the best that Martin have to offer, you need to check out our range!

If you are looking for something a little wild, check out the Taylor 8 string Baritone, it opens up a whole new world of sonic possibilities and adds texture and presence to any song. Tuned down to B, the baritone inspires new techniques, voicing's and with the 2 octave strings on the D and G, it offers a touch of 12 string sparkle.

As always, our used gear is professionally set up, ready to rock and comes with a 3 month warranty (excluding valves).
