The Gretsch G6136TSL Limited Edition Silver Falcon is one of those incredible guitars that seamlessly manages to honour its rich heritage whilst pushing forward with modern vision and functionality. Inspired by the Golden Era of Gretsch production, the '50s and '60s, this Silver Falcon is one of Gretsch's rarest birds.
The Maple body is finished in authentic Black, and with the delicious chrome hardware, it looks every bit the classic Gretsch. The Maple neck has a rich Ebony fingerboard and sports the Pearloid Thumbnail inlays, a real nice vintage touch. With the standard U shape profile and a 12" radius, it's comfortable and really well balanced.
The Dual High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups have incredible response and definition. They have a great dynamic range and really respond to the way you play, slick and subtle one second and roaring the next.
A Bigsby vibrato unit offers great stability and is perfect for all those country, jazz and blues licks. A real stunner, this guitar is a great example of timeless Gretsch design.
This guitar is used but generally is in really nice condition. There are a few scuffs on the back but nothing overly noticeable, it plays and sounds fantastic and comes complete with Gretsch hardcase.
