One of all time classic archtop guitars gets a modern day makeover and a special place in the Gibson Memphis line up. The Gibson ES-275 is a long time jazz players favourite and this model remains true to the classic design while adding a few features demanded by the modern working player.
Featuring a 3-ply Figured Maple/Poplar/Maple body, it's finished in a slick Montreux Burst; its a timeless colour choice and perfectly complements the beautiful figuring of the Maple top. Delivering a rich and authentic tone, the ES-275 is super resonant and beautifully balanced; it just oozes that real Gibson vibe.
The neck is something special, crafted from Mahogany; it features a gorgeous bound fingerboard, embellished with pearloid block inlays. With 22 frets, a 12" radius and a 24.75" scale length it feels smooth and comfortable, equally at home playing slick lead work or sweet jazz chord strumming.
A pair of Memphis Historic Spec humbuckers delivers those classic '60s tones, deep, rich and resonant they offer great clarity. These PAF style pickups are slightly underwound and feature unbalanced coils for a truly historic sound.
This guitar is used but in fantastic condition. Complete with original hardcase, this ES-275 is a joy to play, a real highlight from the Gibson back catalogue.
