This is a Vigier Excalibur Supraa that we've seen and loved before, but this one is finished in the new 'Rock Art' finish, which is if we boil it right down, is essentially a tie dyed guitar finish. This finish is only done by one person in the Vigier factory, the man Patrice Vigier himself.
This one is the actual guitar that was shown at the NAMM show this year, and our John snapped it up. Everytime they're making one of the these guitars they're coming out completely unique, and this one looks something like C3PO and R2D2 fell into a trash compactor together, gorgeous colours smooshed together.
Specwise this guitar is the normal Supra spec in the HSH configuration featuring a 2 piece naturally aged alder body, the Maple neck is a 24 fret D profile with the Teflon nut and hardened zero fret that Vigier are known for.
Pickup wise as this is the "Supraa" rather than "Supra" this is loaded with Amber hand wound units, all controlled from a 5 position switch and volume and tone knobs.
This guitar feels wonderful, plays quickly and sounds like a monster. The quality control is exceptional as well, to be fair that's true of all Vigiers.
