Suhr NAMM show special model - The "Suhr Select" is a range of guitars designed by John Suhr himself and senior masterbuilder, Mike Ponce.
This guitar was the first custom JM model to ever be made with a maple top. This one has a beautiful bookmatched, quilted maple top, with a Bengal Burst finish.
It has an alder body with a maple neck and Pau ferro fingerboard. So with the addition of the quilted maple top, we're gretted with a sweet, open sounding tone with plenty of girth and and that's just on the clean tone! When you play this with some gain, notes just fly off the fretboard and it's just loaded with amazing harmonic content.
This has the classic "even c slim" neck profile which'll suit most kinds of guitar players, unless you're into huge baseball Nocaster style necks.
10-14" radius fingerboard with stainless steel heavy frets.
The inlays are really eye catching and is the first i've seen with offset dots.
Matching quilted maple headstock
With a SSV neck pickup and SSH+ bridge pickup, this guitar has a super versatile tone, which is definitely not normally the case with traditional guitars of this shape.
The trem can stand all kinds of abuse. This trem setup has had 100's of players hanging up their floyd rose loaded guitars, in favour of this ultra stable and east to mantain trem!
Comes with luxury Suhr hard case.
