The Squier Vintage Modified '70s Stratocaster provides vintage detail at an affordable price
The Squier Vintage Modified '70s Stratocaster extends the vintage modified range with a guitar that offers a flavour of Fender's most distinctive vintage guitars: the '70s Fender Stratocaster. In the spirit of the range, this guitar offers a mixture of vintage detail, with a modern twist, but at a very tempting price.
Duncan Designed Pickups
Visually, the Squier Vintage Modified '70s Stratocaster has many of the touches of the original models. An oversized headstock features on a maple neck, with vintage-tint gloss. The vintage white model features a white-black-white 3-ply scratchplate, with black pickup covers and control knobs, and a rosewood fingerboard.
In keeping with other guitars in this range, the Squier Vintage Modified '70s Stratocaster is equipped with Duncan Designed pickups, in this case, three SC-101 single-coil Strat pickups. These pickups feature alnico magnets with flat magnet stagger for exceptional string balance. Capable of distinctive Stratocaster tones with more than a hint of vintage flavour, they provide a tone to match the aesthetics of the guitar. A vintage synchronised tremolo bridge adds further to the vintage credentials.
