The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom 1959 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The 2-piece Alder body is finished in a super sweet Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst NOS flash coat lacquer. The NOS finish gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved since 1955 and doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work.
The tinted, rift sawn Maple neck features a 7.25” - 9.5" compound radius, a ’59 C profile and 21 frets, perfect for a wide range of playing styles, it offers a really comfortable playing experience. The Slab Rosewood fingerboard is delicious and complements the colour beautifully.
With a trio of handwound Fender ‘59 Strat single coil pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone. The vintage wiring gives you a real old school vibe, it doesn’t just look the part, it sounds it too.
