In honour of our Fender Custom Shop event, we bring you a series of incredible Masterdesign guitars fresh from Corona!
The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '69 Stratocaster is a Greg Fessler designed beauty! The Alder body is finished in a delicious Closet Classic Pink Paisley, a real Fender classic, the Pink Paisley has been something of a Fessler signature in recent years and this one looks the business! Authentically aged, this guitar was built as if it was bought new in its respective model year, played maybe a few times per year and then carefully put away; it features a few dings, a checked finish, lightly oxidised hardware and aged plastic parts.
The Quartersawn Maple neck is a real treat. With a 9.5" radius, 21 frets and a '69 Strat U profile it is super smooth underhand and offers a great base at both ends of the fingerboard.
This guitar offers a serious amount of tonal versatility thanks to its insane array of pickups. With a hand wound '69 Strat at the neck, a hand wound Fat 50 in the middle and a Texas Special at the bridge you get 3 very distinct flavours.
