I do love a Journeyman Relic Strat! The aging is a tasteful in between of a heavily aged instrument and a brand new one, acting as a guitar that has been played and loved over many years but not overly battered! This particular one has a beautiful aging on it from the cracking in the lacquer all the way to minor dings and discolouration in the lovely Surf Green finish.
The nitro lacquer on these is super thin which really makes for a really resonant and sustainful guitar. It's loaded with hand-wound '69 neck and middle pickups with a hand-wound Fat '60s in the bridge position which provides a real classic fat Strat tone but with that unmistakable Fender sparkle shining through.
Beautiful quarter-sawn maple neck with a rosewood board, 21 6100 jumbo frets for supreme ease of play and a 9.5" radius. Super comfortable 65 C neck shape with a lightly worn back.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity and Fender hard case.
