There are very few players who can boast as many performing credits as Toto's 6 string bandit, Steve Lukather. With a career spanning over 40 years he has featured on over 1500 albums and been the recipient of an impressive 5 Grammy Awards.
It's no wonder that Music Man were keen to recruit him to their roster. After several hugely successful versions of his signature Luke guitar, Sterling have decided to introduce a high spec model at a more affordable price point.
Based on the Music Man LIII, the Sterling Luke HH features many of the same specs as its Music Man counterpart. Loaded with USA made DiMarzio Luke signature Transition DP254 and DP255 pickups, the very same as on Lukathers own guitar, this beaut can dial in all those lush tones that a player as versatile as Lukather requires.
Another key feature of Lukathers LIII is the Floating Vintage Tremolo, the Luke HH utilises this same unit. Set to Luke's personal spec, the Vintage Trem allows for a massive 1 ½ step pull. Perfect for the flutter effect or full dives and with locking tuners the tuning remains accurate and stable.
The Sterling Luke HH is personally endorsed by Steve Lukather himself and is a real testament to the high-quality craftsmanship from Music Man Sterling.
