Here is something you don't see too often, a James Tyler Black Classic. James Tyler has been crafting knockout electric guitars since the '70s and his blend of futuristic and vintage design has made his guitars firm favourites with an array of pro players including Steve Lukather, George Lynch and Robben Ford.
The Black Classic is a great example of that blend of design. Inspired by the traditional Strat shape, it features a Solid Alder body and a slick black finish with Tortoiseshell pickguard, vintage styling at its finest. Rocking an HSS configuration, the Black Classic is loaded with a pair of JTS5500 single coils in mint green for vintage Strat tones, while a Secret Humbucker in black provides a little more bite at the bridge.
The Quartersawn Maple neck features an Indian Rosewood fingerboard for a real premium feel. It's comfortable, well balanced and ready for action, a real player's neck. With a 2 post tremolo system and locking Hipshot tuners it delivers incredible tuning stability and accurate return to pitch when you're rocking the trem.
With a matching black headstock, this is a really imposing guitar. Its slick appearance and monster tone make this Japanese masterpiece a match for any USA made production model.
