Gretsch have started producing the new "Golden Era" series of guitars, in which this White Falcon features. The Golden Era guitars are as close as you can get to the late 50's/earlly 60's vintage original models but you know what? I think these are even better. Japanese construction means you're going to experience faultless build, with a totally convincing tone and more importanly, consistency from guitar to guitar.
The guitar has period correct appointments from the golden age of Gretsch guitars, which'll satisfy even the most die-hard Gretsch fans.
I'm so glad to see TV Jones pickups in these models, nothing else really comes close to reproducing the Gretsch tones. Another notable spec is the inclusion of 1959-style trestle bracing, which like the TV jones pickups, is the key to the classic tone.
No Grestch would be complete without the inclusion of a Bigsby, in my opinion anyway! So here we have the ever-popular Bigsby B6GVT.
For the more modern player, we have the inclusion of 22 medium jumbo frets.
Includes a deluxe hardshell case.
