The Gretsch Streamliner series offers traditional Gretsch performance but in a slightly slimmer, more compact package.
With a lightweight Spruce centre block that runs the length of the body, the Laminate Maple top is well supported and unwanted feedback is eliminated. The slick 12" radius neck features a Rosewood fingerboard with big block pearloid inlays for the classic Gretsch look. With 22 medium jumbo frets and a thin U shape profile, the Gretsch Streamliner G2622 is perfect for riffing and heavy chord work.
A real highlight of the Streamliner series is the specially designed high output Broad'Tron humbuckers. With glassy highs and deep, rich lows you get a unique tone that is comparable to much more expensive guitars, it's certainly a Gretsch tone that's for sure!
The Bigsby licensed B70 vibrato tailpiece and Adjusto-matic bridge deliver stable and accurate texture and shimmer. Great for those rockabilly licks, the Gretsch G2655T is a great addition to the Gretsch line up.
