The Gretsch G5420T FSR Electromatic Hollow Body, finished in Silver Sparkle with Mahogany Stained Back & Sides, joins a new series of electric guitars released for 2014. This Hollow Body in silver is an incredible looking guitar, featuring a vintage body style at a fantastic price. G5420T remains true to its heritage and comes equipped with an Adjusto-Matic bridge and Bigsby-licensed B60 vibrato tailpiece.
It's loaded with the dynamic new "Black Top" Filter'Tron pickups, which are based upon a recently unearthed Baldwin-era Filter'Tron pickup, and delivers a knockout punch and fantastic twang, giving G5420T FSR an electrifying new voice and identity. The G5420T Electromatic Hollow Body also comes with a bound single-cutaway hollow body featuring sound-post bracing, elegant bound f- holes and hump-block pearloid inlays.
A transparent plexi pickguard, three-position pickup switch, classic "G" arrow control knobs and vintage-style open-back tuners along with chrome plated hardware round off the feature set on the Gretsch G5420T FSR Electromatic Hollow Body electric guitar in Silver Sparkle.
