Released in 1958, the radical Flying V was way ahead of its time but still found favour with a host of great players such as Jimi Hendrix, Albert King and Lonnie Mack.

The Gibson USA Flying V T 2017 is the continuation of this super striking axe, capturing the essence of the original '50s model but with modern precision and playability.

With a hand selected Mahogany body, finished in Alpine White, the 2017 Flying V T has great sustain and is super resonant. The Mahogany neck and Grenadillo fretboard offer greater sonic depth and feel smooth and comfortable. The TekToid nut reduces friction and allows for greater sustain and a more accurate pitch return.

A pair of roaring Dirty Fingers pickups, which are among the most powerful Gibson have ever produced, and its easy upper fret access and super-fast neck make this guitar perfect for a broad range of styles.

The guitar comes protected in a Gibson hardshell case with a premium leather strap, a Gibson multi-tool, and a polishing cloth
