The Gibson BFG is something of a cult classic, with its stripped back aesthetics and powerhouse Gibson tone, they are a real understated player’s guitar. Now after a 10 year exile, it’s back and better than ever!
Crafted from Mahogany, the BFG features a Maple top for the ultimate tonewood combination; it’s rich, resonant and nicely balanced. Thanks to Gibson’s Ultra-Modern weight relief you get enhanced resonance and sustain without the back-busting weight, a real nice feature.
The Mahogany neck has a rounded profile and 22 frets, the usual Rosewood fingerboard has been replaced with a torrified Granadillo one, it has plenty of sustain and feels really organic.
The Gibson BFG Les Paul comes armed with two P-90s, delivering the edgy, fat feel that the BFG is known for. Offering great clarity and dynamic response they can handle a wide range of styles and demands.
