Description

Super cool one-off Fender Custom Shop '59 Esquire finished in a closest classic surf green finish. This one is on a very special deal as it's been recently discovered in Fenders warehouse and we've passed the saving on.

I know you're probably thinking "don't esquire's have one pickup?" - well yes they normally do, this one just doesn't! :-)

In the neck postion we have P-90, which has a fat clean tone and greasy, punchy driven tone. A cool benefit of the a P90 is the added fatness it imparts to the middle position when both pickups are on. In the bridge is a '63 Tele pickup, which has a nice balance of punch and twang.

Alder body with a 22 fret Maple neck with Jumbo frets and a 9.5 radius. The neck shape is a "59 Esquire C" shape, which measures .780" at the 1st fret and .965" at the 12th fret.

This is a great guitar and a real head turner!
