Exclusive finish available through Music Man's "Premier Dealer Network" only. The "Starry Night" finish will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Let's not forget to mention the sily smooth Ebony fretboard, which is very cool, as the Valentine, as this model is normally only available with a maple neck.
This finish looks even better in the flesh and looks just awesome under the bright lights of your favourite boozer/reputable music venue.
Here's what the fine folks at Music Man have to say about this model:
"The Ernie Ball Music Man James Valentine "Valentine" guitar features a slab ash body, two Ernie Ball Music Man designed pickups (1-humbucker/1-single coil), with 3-way custom wired lever switch, coil tap, modern hardtail bridge with vintage bent steel saddles, 25.5-inch scale, oil and wax rubbed roasted maple neck with 10-inch radius maple fingerboard, 22 stainless steel frets, oversized 4-over-2 headstock and compensated nut, designed for superior tuning stability."
This guitar plays effortlessly, even with the 11 gauge strings that are fitted as standard.
As you can imagine, this guitar is a session mans delight, as it can go from warm, rich almost hollowbody jazz tones on the neck, to honky tonk on the bridge and when you engage the active preamp, the guitar goes off into the whole of screaming rock, when played through a nice crunchy amp.
