National are one of the original American greats, their resonators are some of the most iconic guitars ever produced and have been used by numerous top players. The National Style O 14 Fret Weathered Steel Resonator is just another in a long line of amazing guitars.
Originally released back in the ‘30s, the 14-fret O style was granted a new lease of life back in ’85 with the release of Dire Straits ‘Brothers in Arms’ album on which it featured on the front cover. With a Weathered Steel body, these reso's have an authentically vintage appeal and incredible projection. The steel boasts a hand patina process that brings a unique look and feel to every single one, to complement the look each reso is etched with a scene dedicated to Hawaii. With a bright attack and great sustain, these have a real ‘30s vibe.
A Maple neck with an Ebony fingerboard gives great note definition and a really smooth playing surface. The 30's style peghead with National machine heads rocks the instantly recognisable National logo, this is the real deal!
National have been the go to name for resonators for almost 100 years, with builds of this high quality, you wouldn't bank against another 100!
