The Lowden Bushmills Black Bush Limited Edition is the second collaboration between Lowden Guitars and Bushmills Whiskey Distillery, 2 of Northern Irelands most iconic brands.
Considered by many to be the absolute pinnacle of acoustic guitar production, Lowden just keep knocking out models that simply take our breath away, this Lowden is no exception. Featuring copper from the 10 traditional copper pot stills used to triple distil Bushmills Irish Single Malt and barrel wood that has centuries of use maturing whiskey, this guitar is steeped in history.
With a truly beautiful Master Grade African Blackwood back and sides, this guitar not only looks incredible, it sounds it too. The intricate back inlay is crafted from Oloroso sherry cask Oak, rich and smooth like Bushmills Black Bush Whiskey, it's a really distinctive design. With an Alpine Spruce top it is crisp, clear and well balanced. Figured Koa binding enhances this super premium aesthetic and adds a little exotic flavour.
With a rich piano like response and unbelievable clarity it's equally at home as a finger style guitar or strumming big chords. A stunning 5 piece Mahogany neck with Rosewood splices offers a familiar yet delicious neck combination. The bound Ebony board features the Bushmills logo inlay, again crafted from Oloroso sherry cask Oak. Every element of this guitar has been developed with the highest level of care and attention to detail, the result is simply stunning.
