Back in '08 Egnater released the original and incredibly popular Rebel-20, it was met with great reviews and helped launch the era of super compact 'Lunchbox' amps. Here we have its big brother, the Egnater Rebel-30 112 Mark II combo.
While still retaining the features that made the original Rebel 20 so popular, including the famed 'Tube Mix' facility which allows you to blend a pair of 6V6 and EL-84 power tubes, the Rebel-30 Mark II has some pretty cool features of its own. Under the hood you will find the new Elite Transformers with substantially greater headroom and industrial grade red FR4 glass epoxy circuit boards with beefed up copper traces to name just a few of the improvements. Another great feature is the Silent Record mode, it replaces the speaker with an internal load so you don't lose any of the tube character.
With a variable watt control, you can vary the amps wattage from 1w right through to 30w which makes this amp perfect for home practice, studio work and even on stage. With Egnater's signature tone shaping Tight and Bright control you get full control over the whole spectrum of tones, from shimmering cleans to brutal all out gain attack. With increased gain on channel 2 you get a much more aggressive tone while still retaining the great note definition and clarity you expect. With independent reverb controls for each channel and a tone preserving effects loop you get professional level quality in a really reasonably priced package.
Super dynamic and with tone for days, the Egnater Rebel 30 Mark II 1x12 is a real players amp.
