5 of these special Carol Ann Joe Bonamassa JB-100 signature amp heads will be made and we've managed to secure one....
There's only going to be 3 of these amps available for retail sale. 2 in the USA and our one.
It'll be arriving in the latter part of the year.
Joe will be personally play testing each amp before they ship out from Carol Ann HQ and each unit will come with a certificate signed by Joe and Alan at Carol Ann.
This is what Alan at Carol Ann told us:
I was hanging out with Joe the other day and he told me I should build a limited run of 5 JB100's that are dead on clones of the red EL34 amp I built him for the 'Ballad of John Henry' album.
He still owns this amp and will be lending it to me for this process.
The consensus from the guitar playing world that follows Joe is that this was tonally his best album. The red EL34 JB100 was used for almost all of the overdriven tones on that album.
It can be heard clearly throughout this track and especially in the second solo.
