The HS-2 is our latest amp in the range. It is an incredibly flexible 2 Channel low pwer amp designed for Home/Studio players.
Tonally these amps provide the essential characteristic tones of the larger models, but at levels that are ideal for home and studio use.
While they may not have all of the features and headroom of the other models, they are built exactly the same way using the same quality materials.
One major positive aspect of this lower power design is the ability to push CH A harder to obtain crunchy OD tones that are some of the most difficult type of tones to acheive in any design. This channel morphs from smooth clean to heavy depending on the master volume level and/or the guitar volume control.
Channel B provides the core OD tone of the OD2r/OD2 models.
The HS-2 is very forgiving on cabinet choice and works well with many speaker / cab combinations
The HS-2 features the same tube buffered efx loop as the higher powered amps."
