The Remedy is the newest offering from Dr. Z Amps. Those who seek the full on assault and sweet crunch of the Plexi style circuit look no further. Using four 6V6s and coming in at 40 watts you have all the spit and growl on hand for burning your guitar at Monterey or playing High Voltage rock and roll.
There’s more…The Remedy features a one of a kind half-power circuit. Flip the switch on the rear panel and go from 40 watts to 20 watts with no alteration to your sound. This isn’t your grandpa’s half power switch. You’ll experience the same sonic joy and touch sensitive response at either setting.
On the front panel the Remedy features a blended volume configuration. Both the High and Normal volumes are at your disposal. You can dial in clear top end and full bodied roundness for any size room. No need to jump the inputs. That’s been taken care of so you can take full advantage of the first 12AX7. A full EQ compliment of Treble, Middle, and Bass is on hand for dialing in your desired sound. Anything from subtle ambience to full on space exploration…the Z Verb can do it. With a classic 3 knob set up (Dwell, Mix, and Tone) you can control all parameters of your reverb. The included footswitch let’s you turn the unit on and off when needed. The Z Verb is equally at home with a Dr Z Amp as it is paired with another fine company’s amp. The new Z Brake Lite Attenuator will be right at home mounted inside your combo amp. Like the Airbrake, there is no sacrifice in tone. Perfect for dialing in your combo to it’s sweet spot while dialing back the volume level.
The Brake Lite works with any tube amp up to 45 watts and can be used with 4, 8, or 16, ohm loads. Very simple to install, the Brake Lite mounts with 2 screws and has a hardwired speaker cable to plug into the amp chassis. Plug the speaker into the Brake Lite and you are ready to go.
Please note: the Brake Lite is NOT a stand alone unit and needs to be mounted in a combo for proper operation

Mini Z head £549
The Mini Z is back in action with a few tweaks. Now available as a head only…this is the same circuit and tone many have grown to love from the Mini Z combo. We have added a built in attenuator! You can turn it up to get maximum output tube distortion and dial it back to apartment dweller approved levels…tons of singing sustain that you can talk over. The Mini Z will also shine on smaller gigs where volume is a concern. The Mini has dedicated 8 and 4 ohm outs for different speaker cab applications. Put on top of your favorite cab and go for it. A single EL84, a single 12AX7, 5 watts down to under 1 watt…it’s very easy to like the Mini Z.
Clean headroom? Well, this amp wasn't built to give you much of that, but cleaner tones can be achieved by rolling back the guitar volume. But, if you're like the rest of us, that'll last about 30 seconds and then you'll have the guitar on 10 and be wailing away again...
The breakup begins lightly at around 9 o'clock on the dial, and the sound gets fatter and fatter with more gain as you turn up the volume. Want a nice & crunchy rhythm tone? It's at about 10-11 o'clock. Want a nice, sustaining tone for leads? It's at high-noon. Want ZZ-top? It's at about 2-3 o'clock. Want over the top saturation? Crank it all the way up. The amp gets both louder AND more distorted as you turn it up, so it's "quite a ride." Most will find a happy setting between 12 and 2 o'clock and control the volume and tone with their guitar.

Much time and care was taken in the development of the EZG-50. The seed of the amp came from a new 6L6 output transformer designed for Z Amps by Ken Fischer. The output transformer has a very unique impedance not used by other American amp makers. This is one of the key factors to the EZG-50s sound.
NOS Allen Bradley carbon comp resistors are used in all critical tone positions of the EZG-50 circuit. These classic resistors add a warmth and depth to the tone that only they can give. SRZ-65 £1499
The SRZ-65 is one of Dr Z's first designs, dating back 20 years. This amp was ahead of its time. You get a tube rectified EL34 output section and a classic three 12AX7 cascaded gain front end in all it’s hand wired glory. The tonal possibilities are vast. Gain and power combine to deliver pure crunch making this the ultimate rock amp. Simply roll the volume back on your guitar and you’ll hear the shimmering bell like cleans from the EL34s. The SRZ-65 is perfect for dialing up modern and classic rock sounds as well as old school British Steel.
Weighing in at 60 watts the SRZ-65 can handle stages big and small. The master and gain settings allow many different shades of clean to crunch. The full EQ and Presence circuit let you dial in the perfect blend of top end, middle, and bass for your guitar. Single coil and humbucker equipped guitars are equally at home plugged in to the SRZ-65. Around back are 4, 8, and 16 ohm speaker outs as well as a convenience AC outlet. Stangray Head Red
Dr. Z's newest creation, the Stang Ray (briefly known as the Stingray and Mantaray), is the result of his second collaboration with superstar country guitarist Brad Paisley. After the success of their first partnership, the Prescription Extra Strength, Dr.Z and Brad Paisley wanted to develop an amplifier that offered an additional pallet of tones to work alongside the Prescription Extra Strength.
Using the classic setup of a quartet of el84's biased close to true Class A at 30 watts, the new Stang Ray tips its hat to classic British tones, but like all Dr.Z amps, has its own unique voice. The preamp uses an EF-86, and it has a 12AX7 phase inverter. Tone shaping is accomplished with Volume, Tone, and Cut controls, giving you the ability to dial up a warm tone, but with sweet 3k range brilliance for beautiful upper treble and nice low-midrange control. The output transformer was designed by Ken Fischer (Trainwreck), who also worked with Dr.Z on the Airbrake.

Mazerati GT Blonde £1299
A recognizable name in the line up of Dr Z Amps is back. The Mazerati GT may look familiar, but you are in for a whole new ride. Our goal with this design is to provide you the simplest platform to achieve that elusive “boutique” high gain tone. The GT uses the time tested output transformer designed for us by Ken Fischer. The gain comes on fast and strong allowing you to simply use the volume knob on your guitar to provide sparkling clean tones.
The Mazerati GT utilizes two 12AX7s, a quad of EL84s, and a 5AR4 rectifier. The GT is cathode biased so output tube changes are a breeze.

I have maintained a very tight bottom end, something that has been lacking in some 6V6 designs. 'Route 66' Head Red £1200
The Route 66 is an all original Dr.Z design based on the incredible KT-66 tube originally built by Genelex. This tube generates the "Milkshake Thick" tones, as heard on John Mayalls "Bluesbreaker" album featuring Eric Clapton (the "Beano Album" as it is known to many).
This is not a duplicate of the Marshall JTM-45, but completely original spin with new tonal end results. The "Route 66" has a EF-86 front-end. For those not familiar with this tube, it is a 9 pin pentode , offering incredible gain and input dynamics. It is normally used in high-end stereos, most often for its accurate transfer of input signal, balance, and headroom.
The amp features a deceptively simple tone stack, consisting of Volume, Bass, and Treble, which feeds a non-negative feedback Phase Inverter, for true harmonic content and full output tube dynamics. It has a GZ-34 Tube Rectifier to complete the round enveloped tone. The amp has piano-like clarity with endless sustain, even at low volumes.
